The Key is a program that provides Royal Caribbean International guests with premier access to exclusive experiences during their cruise vacation. Royal Caribbean offers a limited amount of guests access to The Key which is an exclusive program that offers special amenities to guests for an additional cost.
The Key experience is available on all ships except for Quantum Voyager and Majesty of the Seas. The benefits of The Key are available per guest and include. Do you want to be treated like a VIP on your next Royal Caribbean cruise.
Currently RCCL is testing a new program that gives you VIP treatment for a daily. The Key is Royal Caribbeans way of giving extra benefits to cruisers who want a more VIP experience onboard or simply want to make sure that they can skip the lines. It debuted as a pilot.
In 2018 Royal Caribbean rolled out The Key It was a new guest priority package available to all cruisers who were willing to pay for it. The intent was to give travelers VIP or suite-style benefits while on board. Its available for a small additional cost without the need of booking the type of suite that offers similar perks.
Royal Caribbean launched a pilot program that offers guests on select sailings VIP benefits and perks called The Key. The Key is being tested out on Liberty of the Seas and Oasis of the Seas for sailings beginning November 25 2018 through the end of March 2019 and we recently had the chance to try it out on Oasis of the Seas. Royal Caribbean has made a change to The Key a pay for perk program that the cruise line rolled out earlier this year. One of the exclusive experiences that came with purchasing The Key was lunch. In March 2019 the benefits of The Key on Royal Caribbeans website were listed as this.
The biggest difference I see here is the benefit of Daily private hours on marquee activities which. The Key on Royal Caribbean is a for-a-fee program offering priority boarding private hours at onboard activities preferred theater seating and more. On most cruise lines there are only two ways to get priority status that lets you skip all of those long lines enjoy exclusive dining and generally be treated like the VIP you know you are.
This year Royal Caribbean rolled our their new program The Key and it has a lot of cruisers wondering about it. The Key is basically an upgrade you can purchase with special perks meant to enhance your cruise experience. A lot of these are the same perks youd get if you had a suite state room but you dont need to book a suite to get the Key.
If you love the activities on Royal Caribbean ships you will LOVE that you get special hours dedicated to just The Key guests. There was a times schedule in our cabin for the activities included in The Key program. For our ship we had special times for FlowRider Ziplines Rock Climbing.
A fantastic way to experience all of these fun activities without needing to wait in a long line. We spoke to a bunch. Between November 25 2018 through the end of March 2019 The Key is an option for those cruising on Liberty Oasis of the Seas.
